Did you not see all the games he started in 2020? The Bears gave him his best opportunity and he squandered it despite the somewhat shoddy O-Line. He isn’t mobile enough either and takes too many sacks. Foles is like Fitzpatrick: they both are amazing as backups, but usually when it comes to starting they embrace the suck.

Also, they rarely ever heat the field because the snow is a HUGE advantage for Green Bay.

If you thought Cousins and Thielen did damage, Foles and Thielen will make you cry. Bears won’t go anywhere for a while. @Connor Davis There may be some rust, as he is 3rd string, but you can tell that with better protection and more snaps he can go back to being Super Bowl Foles. The Bears are going to continue to have issues, no matter who is at QB, if they can’t come up with a cohesive O-line to protect the QB. Fields has potential, but not like this.

@JesusIsC0mingS00n There isn’t rust. He was bad in Chicago last year. He was bad in STL when he was the guy there. He was bad in JAX. He was below average in almost every stop he’s had as a starter. He got hot for a few games and had a great game script/talented supporting cast (including elite defense) that helped him win a SB. He was a fan favorite because he overperformed. But he will never be at that level for an entire season.
