Rodgers is playing banged up and he’s like 45 years old. Puts a lot of pressure on Fields to play. It’s more than standings or stats it’s a real rivalry game

That’s a stupid outlook to have. Yes, it’s a rivalry game, but its still just one game. Dude has TORN LIGAMENTS in his shoulder, which is the type of injury that could absolutely become much worse if he takes a wrong hit during the game. Offensive line is in flux again with Rieff and Borom hurt, plus you have the bye coming up next week. So no, I don’t agree that he should play. I would love to beat the Packers, but at the end of the day, no game is worth potentially risking the future of your franchise
@Kyle Michaelsen see I agreed with you strongly but Sharon is playing with a broken thumb and sore ribs. I’d rather him go and play a terrible game with zero rushing and only 3 good plays then for us to play someone else. He needs to learn through the experience and competitive edge and also learn to not get hurt as that is a skill in its own right. Things happen of course and he lays it all out there but st the end of the day he knows how he feels and if he should rest. Watch Rodgers interview on the mcafee show he’s so smug and righteous about playing thru injury that has to inspire some sort of extra toughness in the bears franchise QB
@Nader Abdelmuhdi I don’t think toughness and competitiveness has ever been Fields issue. I guarantee you he wants to play. And to be fair, I don’t know how he feels or how much he’s healed so far. But this is about being smart. Rodgers wants to play because he knows he doesn’t have that many years left. Not everybody can be Tom Brady and play into their mid 40s
