Mike has had 2 great games out of 4 starts and would have had a great game against the colts if he hadn’t got hurt. Zach hasn’t had one good game and had 20 starts.
he was dicing up the colts defense (who were very good last year) and then that injury happened…if he plays, I think we prob lose that game by 10 maybe
We also gave up 45 points to the colts bc our defense was last in nearly everything, 30 points wins a lot of games
Listen to him talk…what he says about the defense. That’s what I want my QB to sound like
He is so easy to root for. What a good down to earth guy. You can tell why his teammates love him

@Matt B The ability to slow the game down, read the field and make a decision is not something that can be easily identified. There’s more evidence that he could be special than there is with Zach at this point. Mike might regress and Zach might step back up and kill it – but it’s silly to write Mike off right now.

We all want him to be the guy so bad
Mike will do well against the Vikings, just needs to be aware that their defense is pretty good at INT’s. He showed good all-around qualities last week, just needs to continue on his path. He’s very levelheaded, and that’s an important quality for a QB at this level, not to be shaken, to take one play at a time and not think ahead.
Man, that’s how you lead right there. Hopefully Zach can learn and grow from this situation cause it’s extremely hard not to root for a guy that everyone loves on and off the field. The team was literally sparked last game, can’t wait for Minnesota!

Love this dude man…as a qb he has all the right tools(goes thru progressions,quick release, steps up in pocket, gets everybody involved) its sad you have quite a few lames (who identify theyself as jets fans) who want this kid to fail just so they can give this kid zach another chance…end of the day like ive felt since preseason this is our number 1 not zach or flaaco…hoping for the best for mike man..he sat for 4 years learning (the oldschool way) …jet up

@Nelson C He’s had a chance to mature a bit as opposed to Zach who needs time to get there. Zach’s reaction to the loss against NE really annoyed me.
How can you not root for this man? He has an energy about him that makes him someone that you root for!
You can see in his eyes- he wants that Bills game. He wants to go up to Buffalo with more weapons and a much better defense and STEAMROLL them. Let’s go Mike White!!
Biggest differences from our 2nd overall pick a year ago? Steps up in the pocket, Processes his reads quickly and efficiently, doesn’t try to play hero ball and can actually complete a screen pass. Let’s hope the good times roll against Minnesota.
