Off him speaking I felt his energy and enthusiasm. Remember Lafuler wanted someone to get the side like hype. If the defense isn’t doing that. What’s the point?

@Ja Mo How’s he not elite and it’s not only those players he’s got players like Kenny, Amos, Savage, Jaire, Gary, and then our young linebackers in Kamal and Krys that he can teach and help them grow because that is his specialty
@Ja Mo hmmm??? He legit is 2nd in sacks the last two seasons, and is the reason why out pass rush last year wasn’t awful. He carried our entire pass rush.

I know he doesn’t have the best results from his former DC gigs, but I love his energy and enthusiasm. I have no clue how the players will perform under him, but I love how he answered the questions, especially about how you can learn more and grow more as a coach by going through failures, rather than always having success.
The one most people look at is the 0-16 lions and its more based on the players in my opinion

I thought him talking about learning from rough experiences was insightful. Imagine working 100+ hours a week for the 0-16 lions and still not losing love for the game.
Just because you took a job offer to try and move up in the coaching ranks, even though that job probably isn’t the best fit for you, doesn’t mean you can’t learn things from it. Everyone makes mistakes in life. All that matters now is what you have learned from those mistakes if you decide to learn from them. If you look back to high school, there are several instances where certain kids had success early and just lived off of that, and never got more successful. Then there are kids that made bad decisions, but 10 years later they decide to make changes and turn their life around. Success is more about your mindset than it is what you did 10-15 years ago.
I believe everything Joe said, this guy seem to know what h’s talking about.
Winning isnt one thing, winning is the ONLY thing in green bay.
