Even with Lamar the ravens were struggling to win. They weren’t winning in a convincing fashion. Especially losing to the lags etc

Watson is starting to look like 2020 Watson, and if that keeps up, that’ll be real scary for the rest of the division. Especially if the O-Line gets back to as good as they were before two starting Centers went down, and they still have Chubb.

Roquan is the only defensive player seeking a contract right now, everyone else is paid already (at least the guys we need). He’s not even in the Elite QB category with Mahomes and Company. He isn’t something that we haven’t seen before and be honest with yourself, if Kyler got drafted by the Ravens and Lamar went to the Cardinals that we would be calling him a generational talent? He went to one of the best Orgs in the league with a great team around him, all be it average WRs.

As for Watson, the Browns didn’t put together a team or a system that depends him for the offense to work. It worked to a certain degree with Mayfield and with Brissett. They just believe that it will work better with Watson.

@Rymith84 I understand where you coming from & I agree he isn’t on Mahomes, Allen, or Burrows level. When I say generational talent I’m saying his style of play. No he’s not the best Qb not even top 5, but when it comes to a running Qb no one in this gen after Vick can stand by him and he’s winning games (1-3 in playoffs but that can turn around very quick as it did with Peyton manning). I just feel like he deserve more garunteed money than Kyler and Russ. I’m a fan of the ravens so I don’t want to see them drop 250 garunteed on 1 player that’s silly. If Kyler and Russ got paid and not seeing the playoffs then all I’m saying is give the man what he deserves

It seems like under Woods they start off every season playing poorly and they start to build momentum as the season goes on.. A team trying to make playoffs cannot do that.
@Newworldman66 Well our DT’s are ranked dead last in the league and all our starting LB’s are on IR for the year so that makes it easy to run on. That cannot be fixed until the off-season unfortunately. If the interior D-line gets fixed and our Oline (which has been ranked nearly last in the league over this past month mainly due to injury) gets healthy the Browns will be so extremely dangerous next year.

@Disxon Cider We lost to all 3 of those teams so they all hold the tie breaker over us. It will take a miracle collapse for us to make it. We don’t have any 1st round draft picks though so we are basically playing these last few games like preseason go get better for next year with Watson.
