That all goes back to the coaching staff. The players are all very young but they listen and learned from the coaches and it shows. They are going to struggle in some games yet. But as a Lions fan, I have hope. This isn’t a “any given Sunday” luck win streak. The Lions are not there yet… but if they sure seem like they are headed in the right direction.

When Coach was saying were (this close ) he meant the Defense was getting this close, a missed assignment here, a bad gap fit there…Now your seeing this Defense flow to the ball they don’t have to think anymore. They are flying and flowing to the ball in droves! The turnovers are a flimsy stat bcuz you could have 20 turnovers one year and 12 the next with the exact same roster..Its the sound fitting and gap integrity tht you can rely on yr after yr. The big plays will come just doing your 1/11

Watch this Barry Sanders highlight reel but don’t focus on Barry ficus on the Oline. Detroit had the most underrated Oline on the history of the NFL for several years. This thing had to be built in the trenches and we have Brad Holmes to thank for that. I’m glad to see the investment is starting to pay off. I believe if we pick up JG extension and continue to invest in the defense on draft night we could be a key free agent or two away from contention
This Detroit team is different. The way the defense is playing is incredible night and day from the first 6 weeks. Shoutout to AG for staying at it this team has the potential to be scary good in the next few years
I know you were a O lineman Baldy but it’s good to see my Lions O line getting some national love. We all know what we have here and it’s the strength of this team and we love them there nasty but disciplined
I love these Baldy Breakdowns videos. Really opens your eyes and PFF really misses a lot and doesn’t tell the whole story of a game. Those PFF grades can be misleading.
Folks just need to be patient. This kind of development takes time. These young guys are coming along and it’s fun to watch.
