I’m a diehard baker fan all the way back from his OU days, but as much as I want to, this game is hard to defend how poorly he played.

And that run game opened up some nice play actions! Even on a bootleg he couldn’t hit a crosser. Even the easier sprint outs he couldn’t accurately deliver a ball to an open receiver. Those are basketball layup equivalents!
Baker will never be a good starting qb in the NFL he will be a career backup at best

Baker is the worst qb to ever where the uniform. Jimmy was better. Once again, the players are in position to make the plays to win the game, but they don’t. Missed passes, missed handoffs, dropped balls on 3rd down. Deflected balls.. Procedure penalties..

Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he’s been terrible. Barely completes 50 % of his passes, gets 5 balls batted down every game and the o line has been good, it’s on him

As a Cleveland Browns fan. This is Baker Mayfield.. throwing off his back foot, not planting his feet, sailing the ball, can only read the first option, too short to throw over the line.
@Edward Gaines and Murray really struggles to throw over the middle. Murray is at his best when he’s outside of the pocket and/or throwing to the outside. Hell has frozen over if he’s in the pocket and throws over the middle

Besides being dead last in QBR this year, Baker Mayfield is on pace to have the worst QBR in the NFL since 2010 when Jimmy Clausen posted a 13.8 QBR.

We really wanted him to be our qb but I’m so glad that I don’t have to hear the same press conference week in and week out. It’s been on repeat for the last 4 years. When he wins a game he talks like he’s going to Super Bowl.
