@Shalashaska 89 nobody is saying that lol. he’s had 2 months to get on the same page with his recievers and the whole oline has had the same amount of time. there’s a reason why every great qb was drafted by a great coach. players only do what the coaches tell them to an extent. timing and pre determination are key as a qb and he simply doesn’t have that with ONLY 3 games WITH this team.
@Robert Edwards you saw him thread the needle when teams didn’t know that all they needed to do was put their hands up in the air in front of him and make him throw higher than he’s used to… that throws off his accuracy…. he used to be accurate until everyone realize all they had to do was make him throw over them… now he throws over everyone

What’s wrong with Baker I know he’s not the best but he’s clearly off with his timing and accuracy. Laviska made it happen today on 2 big plays he needs to be incorporated in our offense more.

Agreed. We can’t keep going 3 and out because against better teams, our defense is going to wear out and start giving up scores because our offense can’t keep them off the field. We also need to do better in the redzone and stop settling for field goals. 2 field goals still don’t even equal a TD plus extra point.
Baker obviously is still not hitting on all cylinders with this new system or his new receivers, but his history tells us that he’s not going to stop driving himself until he’s REALLY good. It’s going to get fun when Mayfield and the O-line start developing some chemistry.
Exactly right! Look at his first 6 games with Stefanksi in 2020 and how it took him a little bit to get the offense down but once he started getting it down the offense started clicking and they took off
Competition is good, but the splitting of the reps between Baker and Sam still costs glue between Baker and his offense.

Browns did him no favors waiting so late to trade him. For what they got in return, they could have made that trade before off-season OTAs. Browns didn’t want him so they should have moved him earlier.
