    Finally a center who knows what? Pocic was all first team in the SEC at center – it’s his natural position. But the o-line coaches changed 3x, from zone to power and back to zone. He’d actually be a better fit now with Waldron’s zone approach. The Seahawks line is a mismash of maulers and zone/mover athletes that doesn’t work.

So…. everyone is excited. Not sure why. This is a lateral move from Pocic. Pocic was first-team SEC and wrestler also, just like this guy but in a tougher league. He was sabotaged by having multiple different o-line coaches with vastly different strategies, and probably fit the new scheme the best. But whatever. You SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT TACKLE – not center. All 3 guys that were the starters and main backup tackles are free agents – make that 4 since Jamarco left also – and we hear no rumors or re-sign or replace. You should be more worried that Seahawks will start Forsythe and Curhan at LT and RT.
