Lets not forget the refs sure missed a few calls that should’ve went the Falcons way…I will say Arthur Smith was beside himself and giving them an earful every chance he got.
Hopefully next season will be better.

For those blaming Arthur smith for the loss or any of the losses that have happened this season! Yes some calls were not ideal but it falls on the players when the play isnโt made correctly. This team has talent, has drive and has a lot of talented potential! Just need to get used to schemes and play it under his offense! We canโt sit here and blame him for this one or any or that matter! He is one of the best coaches we have had behind mike smith! So quit blaming him and look on the bright side! The future of our franchise is yet to arrive!!!!! Believe it!

Let me say something about Arthur Smith. I’ve been a fan for 45 years, and he’s one of the top coaches this team has ever had. You can tell by the way he is on the sidelines that he is 110% committed to winning. He’s had some tough breaks in Atlanta, but he’s determined to get this team to the championship. I love the guy and hope Mr. Blank will keep him long-term.

I think he’s a great coach, but not the best play caller. I’ll stick with him and keep hoping he learns from his mistakes and what works, but he always seems to go back to what doesn’t work, trying to force it to work.
I’ve been hoping for a solid Atlanta Falcons football team for 56 years. But my hope is real, real tired!

@Jiggy playz Superbowls – 0, Superbowl appearances – 2, Division Titles – 6. So to be doing it since 1966 overall it’s probably at bottom of NFL if not last for accomplishments.
Baltimore Ravens have been a team since 1996 Superbowls – 2, Superbowl appearances – 2, Division titles – 6. Falcons have been at it for 30 more years than Ravens yet Ravens has caught them and surpassed them…
I feel you friend….lots of woulda and shoulda…blaming the refs..call a spade a spade ,this team is the worst team in the nfl…regardless of record.

Des didnt look bad….we are a rebuilding team. We all knew that when Matt was in his last year. Des looked pretty good today. No majoe mistakes. Uncharacteristic penalties cost us today.

When it comes down to it, Iโm a fan who is loyal to a team who has lost fans that arenโt staying around because of the superbowl loss. Who cares what you say or believe about Ridder, Marcus or anyone else. Marcus was there to add more depth didnโt work out. Ridder is the face of the franchise where you like it or not
@RYTHEGOLFGUYSHORTS Yah, someone is going to see what he did at Atlanta was pretty impressive. Even a decent QB is seeming hard to find right now and he was on the cusp of top 15 in the league, for a while he was.
Ridder looked good second half, give him a coach a line and more weapons but he def improved

Falcons not winning any more games until next season…at this point hoping to get a good draft position for some sort of impact player….Marcus Mariotta and Desmond ridder are both back qbs.
Brah! No comparison, Ridder is a rookie. Marcus just needs to figure out his fundamentals and just use the time to get better. Des is getting started, to demote him THIS early in his career is horrible. You have no idea how capable an athlete is until they unleash thier full potential! Quit saying that he is a backup! He has more leadership, accountable, and pocket presence then Marcus. He takes time to read defenses and thatโs what Marcus never did. He is mobile QB. He has the ability to show people like you what he is made of

Agreed! There are also going to be some good players in free agency though like David Long, Roquan Smith, James Bradberry, Cam Sutton, and Marcus Davenport. Would love to pick up some veterans to set the tone for our young defense
Team has so much potential we rolled out damn near 2nd-3rd stringers on defense and they kept it close for us canโt ignore that! losing sucks but it was never more than 13 points in 13 games if Iโm right

Free agency will have a lot of juicy defense players
The team is too young to expect much more out of them. Now next year they definitely should be at least a 10 win team but for now I’m just glad they were better than 2-15 as predicted
I was just thinking this to myself, bunch of 23/24 year old players. I’d like to see some solid free agency pick ups to set the tone. Someone to lead these guys for a few years
