Y’all just see him throw water coolers and hear the reports of things he’s done and y’all see his tweets and believe that that is all this man is, but don’t get it twisted, he is a good dude, a lot of people have vouched for this mans character, but he just went thru a turbulent time where he thought he was the man, he got to big headed, a lot of people in his situation would do the same, and now he’s been humbled and I’m sure he’ll do better.

When he answered that im a better person not a totally different person that gave some hope that he has not necessarily changed but realized what he was doing wrong. If that question was answered by AB 2 years ago he’d definitely had said yh im a completely different person
It is good to hear in AB’s description of TB the phrase that “the past doesn’t matter”. It is so important to let go of the past. Wishing perfect happiness to AB.
I’ve always rooted for AB. And I dislike the Steelers, a lot lol. But Not just on the field but more importantly off. It was very obvious as the years went on, he was dealing with a lot of demons. I always felt he wasn’t an evil “bad” person, he was a broken person. Whether it’s mental health issues, physical, or past circumstances etc…or maybe combo of all three. And never learning how to deal with these things. He needed help. I always believed if he could get that help, he could overcome and navigate most of them, if not all. It appears he has made a major step forward in doing that. I just hope he continues to work on himself and stays the course. He can’t abandoned it all now. It will be a constant work in progress.
Tom Brady had a massive amount to do with his healing, obviously. And that speaks volumes for Tom. He’s a genuinely great guy. Tom recognized this was a man who needed help, and if he could get that help he could do well in life. Not someone to just be discarded like the NFL love to do once they’ve got their time from you. If Tom didn’t step in, I feel AB would have continued down a very destructive path which would have been terrible for him, his kids, and all who care about him. I don’t know if he can maintain this, but I hope so. And I’m sure Tom recognizes the work ahead. But as long as AB is willing to accept the help, he should continue to grow and heal and do well off the field. And make amends to those he may have hurt along the way.
I’ve always loved Brady, but this situation has given me even more respect for him. Most in the sports media will not give this the attention it deserves or enough credit to Tom or AB. Of course we will have to see how he does. But this interview alone shows he’s come a long way. Hoping it continues. 🙏🏼
