My man Winfield, it does not escape me that you are 90% of the time the first tackler. If every player had your vision and field IQ no team would ever score another point against the Bucs.

Dean, the Cowboys picked on you in Game 1 of 2021. They exploited you as the weak man. You’ve had a lot of play time in the last few years with this group and you know them as well as anyone could. Your weakness is letting the ball drop before closing on your man. Rewatch the highlights from Game 1 with the cowboys from last season, and see how you could have played those throws better.
Carlton Davis, you’re great man, but never let that get inside your head. Hopefully we see you ready to play against the Cowboys. Best I can say is work with whichever safety is on your side and make sure they are on the same page with what you’re doing, and you them.
