That third down call at the end of regulation was atrocious. They still need to get a new coach. Herbie’s used to a coaching carousel and can learn a different offense pretty easily, as evidenced by his career at Oregon. So a new staff won’t hurt him. A good coach will keep the best of what worked for JH and add more. Kid didn’t even have an offseason program, any preseason games or any first team reps. A coaching change won’t set him back.
What happened at Oregon with his coaching? I’m not familiar with his college career.
