Of course Brady needs a great defense, home field advantage, Refs on his side. And a back up O line for the other team.
Well the refs were on the Chiefs side on the last SuperBowl so…
To be fair, the Chiefs beat them at home earlier this year and have had a 15-1 record away since 2019. They play BETTER away and with the Covid stuff, “Home field advantage” is minimal. They played bad. They played arrogant and didn’t play hungry like they did last year. They played down to opponents all year and didn’t show the kind of momentum they had leading up to last year’s playoff run. They won a lot of games because the opponent made more mistakes, not because we played better. This is a gut check for sure. But I do agree the refs were probably paid off by Goodell to give Brady another ring and I’m absolutely of the belief that the NFL is corrupt and sadly the players and coaches have nothing to do with that. Clearly, the Bucs got into the Super Bowl with ref help and clearly this game was tilted by very questionable calls against the Chiefs and none of those same calls for clear holding, etc against the Bucs. So, when you combine the Chiefs being arrogant and complacent and the refs tilting the game, it ends up the worst blowout in the Mahomes era.
