Last year we saw some really good football from the Chiefs. BUT – being honest, we really did not see the BEST from this team. Last year was the first year with our defensive coordinator. We saw them stink it up at the beginning of the year and get pretty good at the end of the year. We saw a decent offensive line – just decent. We saw some lapses which made us have to come from behind. Let me tell the Chiefs if they are reading this – something I was told a long time ago – good is best’s worst enemy. Don’t settle for good, or better. Settle for best. Commit to not having come from behind wins. Commit to keeping Patrick’s uniform clean. Commit to less holding calls because you have improved your guarding technique. Commit to keeping your heads in the game by being an expert on your assignments because you know your playbook and your opponent’s.

I don’t know if I’m getting spoiled with our team, but i like it if i am. Our D looked they could have started better in some games. So i think they can be way better this season. As coach stated, especially with great starts.
