@Enemigo Do you even like the Browns? Saying “our next big pick was a kicker” as if it’s something bad after the shoddy crew of kickers we’ve had doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
You better do some research on these guys because you’re just straight up disrespecting David Bell and Jerome Ford. furthermore you must not see the potential upside of Wright , Thomas, Deaton, and Emmerson as perfect schematic fits.
If you mean that they passed on talent by trading back, then I totally agree(personally wanted them to get Metchie) however even if you don’t realize it AB got some good prospects that really line up with our systems and our needs. Hard to call that bad, especially after trading away a ton of picks.

Ran horrible, dropped passes ,falling in and out of cuts. Potential upside compared to immediate impact??? Come on bro be for real. Jerome Ford literally means we’re going to lose Hunt. Emerson could’ve been drafted in the 4th just like the Thorpe award winner was drafted in. Again besides Winfrey and the kicker none of these draft picks are immediate impact they’re role players and depth. Stop it. I admire your optimistic view but be realistic. They passed on so much talent.

@David Smith that’s wasn’t his guy. He found a way to get Watson. He got two studs out of last year’s draft that will be pro bowl players for years to come, and had a pretty good draft this year. Got a steal with Winfrey. I believe the best d tackle in the draft. Got a good d end and two good and under rated wr. This guy is building a solid program and one that will be good and competitive for years to come. Watch ull see. Woods was also a steal! Kid is gifted !

Honestly he’s done nothing other then draft two maybe 3 decent players in 3 years. He used his highest draft pick 3 years in a row on the same position. Look at any team that drafts well and see if they drafted the same position at three years in a row with the highest draft pick. He also Gave up the highest pick we will see for 3 years for a dude we didn’t need. He’s set record contracts for people that were garbage. One of the highest tightend contracts went to Hooper, the biggest contract for a back up QB went to Case, Same with Conklin oh and Watson too who I do like. He had nothing to do with any of our Franchise cornerstones other than Watson. Has never hit on a pick past the 2nd round. It’s funny how anyone can look at what’s he’s done and think “good job” y’all are absolutely delusional. Until he grows a pair and tell coach to stop calling plays none of this matter anyways. No Coach has ever been successful doing both for an extended period of time. Berry is a joke and you guys all patting him on the back is laughable. His picks are crap look em up.

Cade York and Perrion Winfrey are incredible pickups!! Winfrey was a STEAL.
And we may have taken York a little early but he has potential to be special. EASILY worth it for how bad our kickers have been in the last several years. We’re going to need him facing off against McPherson and Tucker each twice a year. In AB we trust!
Man, for us, scooping a kicker a little early and when he’s in the top 5 still available is something I’m really ok with. I hope he comes through. With many of the significant holes seemingly plugged up, kicker/punter can be the deal breaker for a successful deep run in the playoffs.

Not sure what you’re talking about. We have arguably the best route runner in the league in Amari Cooper, a guy that’s ready for the #2 spot in DPJ, a guy who was considered the best WR in the big ten as a potential #2 or #3. A speedster who can take the top off a defense at 4 in Anthony Schwartz. And arguably the most talented armed qb in league in D Watt who WILL make the receivers better bc of his knowledge of coverages and Mid/deep ball accuracy. WITH a run game that can take a game over. PEOPLE WILL GET OPEN in this offense

Excellent picks. I remember the years of GMs drafting exactly who the fans wanted and it just never turned out. Feel like we draft talent first and need later and it ends up working out. AB, PD and KS all seem on the same page and rowing the boat in the same direction. Silent assassins’, sort of like the players they draft, with the exception of Winfrey, he’ll be the dawg to hype us all up. Need guys like him and Ronnie, they’ll just fight you for looking at them wrong haha
Exactly. You need 1 Ray Lewis, not 20. Great draft. We all knew all year that this draft was pretty bad at the top but pretty strong from the third round down. So what did they do? Use draft assets to pick up an elite QB and get more assets deep in the draft. Well done
