Roberts’ role has been dramatically reduced this season as he continues to lose both snaps and targets to fellow receiver Michael Floyd. His upcoming match-up against the Seahawks’ No. 2 pass defense is an unlikely time to expect any sort of a rebound.
Roberts opened the season as the team’s No. 2 wide receiver and had a decent debut, but since then, things have gone steadily downhill. He went from 50-plus snaps a game to fewer than 40 and has just three receptions over his last four games. His role doesn’t figure to increase anytime in the near future and he is nowhere near being recommended for fantasy purposes at this time.
