Ellington carried the ball three times for just three yards against the Seahawks on Thursday. He was also caught two passes for 10 yards on five targets.
This was Ellington’s worst showing of the season, but that’s more a credit to the talented Seattle defense than anything else. It’s been rumored for a few weeks now that Ellington is due to take over for Rashard Mendenhall, but a game like this won’t push him up the depth chart just yet. He’s definitely the more-talented back, but will simply have to bide his time for now.
