I did. I don’t really now after this coaching search. Not so much for the hire, but for the process. It seems rudderless and without direction, like he’s not sure what he wants to do and he’s firing from the hip. Hackett doesn’t really have the resume to say “this guy will bring us winning football”, but he has enough for optimism and hope. I just hope he can keep that positivity flowing in the face of adversity when his team isn’t 13-3.

That’s the one thing everybody has to ask questions about I’m hear he might bring the qb coach frm Green Bay wit him that might b a smart move we all will hve to wait in c but wht bout defense coach is it the same person from last year or a new coach
Gonna be an exciting off-season. I’m sure their plan includes Rodgers, Wilson, Garoppolo or a draft pick. I like the work George Paton is doing though!
@Justin Kanicki Facts. 100% I get rodgers is the league MVP but still it’s ridiculous to rely on aging qbs for a few years. We can’t rely on one guy for greatness. Plus we could have great talent in the 2022 draft class if lock doesn’t pan out. Bryce Young or Strouds. Grayson McCall is also pretty good for coastal Carolina. We just gotta fix the bigger holes first. The smart thing to do is build a crazy oline so we can properly protect our qbs. I’m sick and tired of our qbs scrambling trying to make a play happen cause our guards can’t hold their ground and the tackles messing up and the edge rushers applying crazy pressure. We need to utilize all phases of passes to. Granted Rodgers does that but trading high end picks for him for 2 consecutive years is pretty insane. 1 and 2 2022 and 2023 for 3 years of Rodgers. 4 players that could change offense and defense a lot more than one aging mvp who may take a step back without Hackett.
Hell no on Garoppolo. He doesn’t belong in the same sentence as the other 2. Lock is better than garoppolo.
Hope the coach nd qb coach nd offense coordinator will bring out the full potential in Drew Lock
@Justin Kanicki If Lock is our QB next year, he will take care of business, but I’d be real surprised if Rodgers doesn’t come too! Lock has clearly expressed that he deserves to be a starter, which I agree, but if Rodgers comes Lock would probably be in the package. As a Broncos fan, I believe we will get the one we should have. I would rather have a Bronco become our owner though, not some billionaire that I’ve never heard of! Pat Bowlens family already are millionaires, I believe they should do what Pat would do, and he would do what’s best for the team.
Hopefully he will start with building the front line to protect who ever is qb. That’s number one problem more so than the qb position.

Bridgewater had his 3 seconds more often than not, just very slow in progressions, and Drew Lock is a one read-run guy.

I will agree. It’s starting to look like the off-season before superbowl 50. I think Paton has been given the reigns to gather the group we need to get anouther ring! If Rodgers ends up coming here to, which I really think he will, it will confirm that we are ” going to get” that ring. Rodgers has totally let the Broncos know that he wants to join the team. Shoot, we probably have already shared a few words! With the salary cap we’ve got, we will get what we need on both sides of the ball. Alot of people are questioning the reason why we took a O.C as our head coach, but that is alright, Mike Shanahan was a O.C whe will be just fine!!!

Lock can sit 2-3 years under Rogers and grow. How many years was Rogers under Farve before he started?
None, Rogers came in as a rookie starter…
@David Roos Rodgers was drafted in 2005…Farve left GB in 2008. That would mean Rodgers spent 3 years under Farve, no?

Packers fan here, I hope you guys land Rodgers and Adams because I want Rodgers to get another ring. The Packers wasted his career because they never put a SB roster around him until these last two seasons.

I don’t think it’s very smart to think that you can get a HC with a Hof QB attached to him. Not only because I don’t want Rodgers, but because the commitment with a HC should be greater than that, I think Paton probably thinks maybe this can help persuade Aaron Rodgers, but, before hiring Hackett he should have really thought that we can win with Hackett even without Rodgers, obviously.

Denver just requested to take green bay OL and running back coach adam stenavich as OC. Is Denver trying to lure Rodgers?

Now they need a Great quarterback ,,not a good QB but a great one ,,if they want to make this work. ..QB is the most important position in football..just look at Manning..he made everyone look good 🏈🏈
Not necessarily at all you need a great O-line to protect the QB just look at Bengals from last year and look at where they are this year.
this is not about Aaron Rodgers, it’s about the Broncos — I’m excited!
I think 3 things need to happen for the Broncos this upcoming season to show we’re heading in the right direction:
1. Have a winning record
2. Make the playoffs as at least a wildcard (even if we don’t win the game)
3. Win vs. Kansas City and break the losing streak

Lock has needed a coach that could tech him. This is the guy. Lock has everything he needs now to become a great QB. We should hope that the staff see this.
Aside from the fact he has been overseeing one of the top offenses I have to believe it is also a for a shot at Rodgers.
Im Very excitided About George hr sounds like he knows his Stuff so it Eas a good decission to pick Hackett for Tue head coach
