I doubt that denver will get Wilson or Rogers ( denver doesn’t have the luck)
I think they should hire offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as their new HC because that can attract Aaron Rodgers to be your QB because he has been with Aaron Rodgers for the last few years now. And also Aaron Rodgers wife has a house in Boulder Colorado so he might want to be the QB in Denver for the Denver Broncos.

Byron Leftwich, Eric Bieniemy, and Kellen Moore should be among the top candidates, but because of the timeline for NFL coaching searches those with playoff teams have a disadvantage or are not considered. In this case, none of those are mentioned. 🙁

@Justin Kanicki Because his entire team thinks he deserves to be a head coach. He’s a great leader of men and has a LOT of people around the league who feel he is ready to be a head coach based on what he and the chiefs have managed to do. Even coach Ried thinks he deserves to be a head coach elsewhere. Id love to see him in denver.

The big question is the QB, however, the offensive line is responsible for not protecting Teddy all year. It’s time to stop the million dollar contracts for these fat, flat footed guys who simply have not earned their keep.

Funny how we in Broncos country point out what Fangio was hire as, while the rest of the NFL still thinks hes a defense coordinator.

Unfortunately Fangio got slogged down by having the title of HC. He did, defensively, the best job since Wade Phillips. However, he didn’t make the offensive play calls and just had no chemistry with Pat Shurmur, therefore the odd challenges and timeouts.
Yeah, he’s a defensive guy.. Nothing wrong with that. But, some guys just aren’t head coach material..

@Takhai Mobley yeah, i thought about that midway through the season, Fangio as DC. But that’s a tough pill to swallow, being pretty much fired from head coach, and demoted in a way. I’m still looking at who they will hire. I see Dan Quinn’s name keep coming up.

If Rodgers ends up coming here, I’d pick his current O.C, but if he isn’t going to be our QB, may we have the best possible!

I’m not so sure about that statement about dropping off defensively… how has that worked for KC? Their defense isn’t that good and they were one win away from having the number one seed in this year’s playoffs for the AFC. When you have only 4 wins out of 18 in 3 years against your division… I don’t care if we drop off a little on the defense, if we have a phenomenal offense that keeps teams guessing and gassing.
Last time I checked, each time we won a SB it was with what kind of coach? Defensive? Nope!!! When you make decisions like not getting a top Qb and go for TE’s or Dbs in the first round when you have a gaping hole at the #1 position, I really question you as an evaluator and leader!! And I like Fant and Surtain… but you choose those guys over a Qb or a middle linebacker like Parsons… I just shake my head.
It comes down to the front office!! You don’t have an owner.. people’s jobs are safe

Denver doesn’t have an elite Quarterback that was part of the problem
Well, when you keep recycling QB’S expecting them to lead you to the promised land, based on your defense. This is what you get. Joe Flacco, Case Keenum, Teddy Bridgwater. DIDN’T take a pro scout to know what Denver was getting with that list of QB’S.
I really believe we need to draft & develop a QB. Trading away our draft capital is unacceptable to me.
Here’s why offense > defense.
“The best defense is a good offense.” Truth. The other team can’t score if you have the ball, and you can score if you have the ball.
“The best offense is a good defense.” False. Defenses rarely score, and turnovers are rare as well. And after that, the best you can do is force a punt.
Denver had the option to take Quentin Nelson or Josh Allen in 2018. But they took Bradley Chubb. Huge mistake.
Why not Byron Leftwich?
