Alshon Jeffery: Recapping Jeffery’s Week 6 Fantasy Performance

Jeffery’s two game hot streak came to an abrupt end Thursday against the Giants, as he finished with just one catch for 27 yards. Jeffery had totaled 15 grabs, 325 yards and two scores in his previous two outings.
Jeffery added 15 yards rushing, but was targeted five times; less than Matt Forte, Martellus Bennett and Brandon Marshall. Much had been made about Marshall’s dry spell over the past two weeks, and he was given more looks by quarterback Jay Cutler on Thursday. Owners of Jeffery shouldn’t panic, especially as he heads into a match up against the Redskins leaky secondary, but it’s a reminder that with so many mouths to feed in Chicago, there will be inconsistency.
