@TheRealRhino The Bears defense was pretty damn stingy especially in the second half. I was actually skeptical of the Colts defense and still am a little bit just because they haven’t played any great offenses, but I know, from this, they’re at least very good. I think the X-factor was Nick Foles obviously looking new to this offense… miscomms and the like. For me, even though we scored 3 points through almost all of that game, Foles looked more dangerous. However, the frequent miscommunation on offense whether it be on busted plays or calling timeouts because somebody doesn’t know what the play is reminds the viewer, “Hey, let’s dial it back on this new offense. Let’s give Foles, the SB winning QB, the time he didn’t get during camp to learn all he needs to know before we praise him as God.”

@jwilson856 wilson the Colts have a great defense…..they keep everything in front of them , they swarm the ball, and are very sound at tackling….with Buckner and Houston part of their front seven those guys consistently bring pressure….with that being said i still think the Bears have a better team …..but cant be starting slow with great defenses….

Yea I would rather see Mitch in the pocket but with spies and all that taking away from the pass defense of the other team than Foles having to try and throw perfect passes into tight coverage. Mitch can run and is physical. That 45 yard run against the falcons was special and we need more of it, not many Qb’s run the 40 yards than stiff arm and drive forward to get a 45 yard and have it down on the 5.
