Akiem is one of Ryan Pace’s best additions, ever. He just sets the tone.
He’s has a thing I call battle meditation and that’s when one player affects multiple people on the field just from their presence

Always been one of my favorites! Great player, great guy.
When his playing days are over I’d like to see him begin to coach with the Bears . If he can teach how he plays and how he acts on the field and in the locker room then the Bears would really have something special . I hope he can get back on the field soon , but only as a Bear !

Love ya Hicks and thank you for what you have done here in Chicago you remind me of the old school DL that we don’t see much anymore but as far as finding a player that has bleed and fight as you did I go with Dan Hampton played through 13 knee surgeries in his career in Chicago and just take a look at a photo of his hands his fingers are all crippled up.
Please don’t leave us!!! Super underrated defender who makes a scary difference in the run game.
