    Think about it like this, they can keep Warford as a backup, cut him and save 6 million or they can trade him, get a pick and save 8 million. Warford is 29, almost 30 and has a 12 million dollar cap hit. And clearly he isnt worth it.
    McCoy at Guard means he can swing back to Center if God forbid Ruiz goes down. Then Clapp, Tom or Easton steps in at RG. None of those guys are starter material but they are good backups.

They needed a play making young gun at the tight end position. At the same time the Saints traded the remainder of their 2020 draft picks to move up to the 105th spot from the same team that eliminated them in the 2019 wild card postseason. A HIGH PRICE 2 PAY FOR A TIGHT END. I hope it works out.

    Not really. According to the draft value chart, we came out ahead. Saints clearly trying to identify players they know will make the team vs. drafting for quantity.

Im from Dayton, but moved to New Orleans many years ago. I was infuriated all week for how we let Gronk reunite with Brady, and how we neglected this TE position for so long after JG. Gronk will kill us on defense, but at least Payton heard me screaming and found a guy from my hometown that actually has really good hands (aka NOT Josh Hill).
