Except Thielen has this bad habit where he thinks he’s still 23 and he tries to run wide across the field to get more yards after a grab, but ultimately he ends up losing yards. Just catch the ball and get up field.
@YouTube Algorithmic Safety Board I noticed that this season. But he seemed to have corrected that with the Jets. Now he just drops when about the get hit. Not a bad idea, saves on fumbles!

He still hasn’t been designated to return to the active roster yet since he came off IR with a broken thumb.
I wish Thielen could take 1-2 games off to heal his ankle and/or knee so he’s primed for the playoffs. He’s too valuable and reliable to not be healthy come playoff time. Even less snaps would help. I feel the same way about Za’Darius.
