Q: Did you talk to Christopher Johnson and if you did can you give us an idea of how it went?
A: Yeah I did talk to him and it went like this; I usually talk to him again later today.
Q: What was the thought process on the Steve McClendon trade?
A: My thought process was; It evolved over the weekend, we talked with him, they got it finalized. Oh did you say thought process? Oh well my thought was that it was an opportunity for him to go compete at a place that’s challenging to get into the playoffs and i’m such a pushover that I won’t stand up for my position or my team; I work for Steve McClendon and for the other teams personnel department. It wasn’t ideal for him to leave an 0-6 team, he beat his head against the wall for 6 weeks trying to get these guys to do something I couldn’t get them to do and although he was a great leader for us, we’re tanking so… Besides we have 2nd and 3rd stringers who can use this incompetent dumpster fire of a year to get some playing time. After all it’s all about getting the practice squad game time reps.
Q: So it’s basically a fire sale?
A: Uh no this is different. This wasn’t part of the sale, it was just sold at a discount. It just happened to be an item sold while things are bad but I wouldn’t say it was sold because things are bad because that would mean you were correct in your assumptions and i’m a genius so come on get with biased, shady thought process that I think will show other owners I am still in control.
Q: Adam are you seeing any signs of progress when you watch these games each week?
A: Did you ask if I am seeing this team progress or did you mean was there anything considered progress in the technical term because if you meant option a; than no. But if you meant was there literally ZERO progress; well of course not then the owners I discussed earlier will see I’m failing. Of course there was progress; The defense was terrible in the beginning but after they got slaughtered within an inch of our lives and things couldn’t get worse, we’ll things naturally got better and that… that is something we can build off of. You might smash us into pebbles but you can’t smash us into sand, and if you do, you can certainly not smash us into smaller pieces of dust because dust is the smallest- I’m sorry back to the questions.
Q: Adam sticking with the defense; what was the thinking with the starting players were they injured or just scratched?
A: Oh I don’t think about the starting line up, it’s all about the packages and getting these guys playing time; there’s no real strategy that goes into it. As you see; we’re 0-6 here lol Do you think we put any strategy into it? I’m a brilliant offensive mind; not a brilliant personnel guy who cares about the starting lineup.
A: Do you have a feel for what you saw in sam last week? I don’t have a clue because I don’t look that close. My job is to stare off over here at the water coolers and when the trainers come up to me and tell me how he feels and how he looks I’ll take their word on it and then I can blame them if it doesn’t go 100% as planned.
