that was funny how quiet it was. and you catch Rodge freaking out lol.

    Alex Gonzalez

    F yeah tell them

    CaptShatner

    I think he said JOSH

My biggest problem this year is our 1st and 2nd down play calling. This offense is over complicating itself on the most important downs. We need to manufacture high percentage looks for these young receivers and take advantage of defenses when they sell out to stop the run. Aaron has to play better or both Aaron and Matt need to sit down and figure out how to get this team into better high percentage plays on 1st and 2nd down.

    Isaac Singleton

@Patrick Kavanagh wish they would just run it over and over and over like they throw it. jones is showing out this season, dillon is falling behind at this point and for whatever reason lafleur just wont go all in on jones

    darrin

1 and 2 yard runs eventually turn into 5 to 8 yard runs

    Isaac Singleton

@darrin yep especially with 2 physical runner like Jones and Dillon, Jones seems small but he runs big and the oline creates gaps for him. Jones is showing out this year, his bad game was the bucs, outside of that he has been unstoppable. Hopefully next week we get a saquon VS Jones showdown where Jones outplays him

    darrin

@Isaac Singleton i agree. Think those 2 are the best duo in the nfl right now.

    Chadro Donni

Run the ball. Get Watson and Doubs some touches.

Scoobie Doo

I dont know why they arent doing more short/mid to Watson to get him some confidence

    G-Code Knows

He dropping wide open catches lol he needs to work on his focus

    21blksstt

@G-Code Knows he dropped literally one ball in week one and has only seen like 2-3 targets since, I don’t know why y’all keep saying this. And so what if he does he’s a rookie you don’t stop throwing to him keeping him on the sideline won’t make him any better

Braden

A win isa win, smiles all round😁

Definitely NOT Boromir -

“I think WINNING is sustainable,” Best line of the interview 👍🏈

Being a professional armchair QB / Coach it seems like play calling has been kinda suspect.

Yarden Leshem

anybody notice his bill belichick outfit? love how rodgers focuses on small details

    G SQUARED

    That’s what I was just thinking 😂😂

    zamfambam

I seen that as sun as saw him lol

    leruhs

    Exactly 💯

    Larry Mosher

Trolling belichek without saying a word.

Margaret

let’s not forget NE got a TD after they snapped late; the game clock was @ zero for several seconds before they snapped.

    M M

    @darrin you missed my point.

And don’t get cocky because your average team pulled one out.

    darrin

@M M im not even a packers fan , i just like aaron rodgers. Best qb in the nfl.

    M M

@darrin he’s done nothing except a 15-1 regular season since that one Superbowl win

    darrin

@M M he also hasnt had the coaches and supporting cast other teams have had. Peyton manning only has 2 brees has 1, i dont think that takes anything away from them.

    Samuel Compton

@M M Wow. Imagine going onto a team’s page and trashing a professional athlete just to get a rise out of people

Matthew Mc

Me, standing pointing at the numbers on my back.
AARON RODGERS.
You nailed it brother.

Erik Anderson

I love that they’re challenging these young receivers with complexity in the playbook. They spent the first half knowing they could treat it like practice and still win the game.

    Thomas T

Uh and it nearly cost them the game lol

Sam Rameker

7:50, I never want to see people talk about how he only blames others. yes he may be frustrated but he will take some of the blame and it is important to hold some of these players accountable.

    Isaac Singleton

He always isaccountable, more than alot of these qbs, and if he plays perfect and points out others mistakes its not to show them up its about learning and understanding. i can almost see rodgers in the locker room after the game laughing about the drop with doubs, sure it stunk but that was his toughest catch yet and he makes a slight adjustment going to the ground and he would finish it and i KNOW next time he gets that same chance he will catch it and survive the ground, he doesnt shrink after a mistake and for a rookie thats as big as it gets.

    Sam Rameker

    @Isaac Singleton thank you

Francisco Hocog

if rodgers can just dominate the game more often so that when the defense is smashing then its a guarantee win. but screen passes and holding the ball too long or calling timeouts is just not enough.

Mr N Mrs Simpson

Just put C Watson on the outside and have him run a straight route deep like in week one he drop Watson has wheels. Play action.

JEEMBAY MUSIC

As a packers fan for 24 years that was TERRIBLE. Play calling is scared. FLING THAT ROCK, stop playing scared!!!!!!

Ty

Everyone needs to relax. It’s stressful now but hopefully by December Doubs and Watson are coming around a little bit more. It takes time to learn all the little things and build Aaron’s Trust. Time to let Aaron see things on film as well as the Rookies. They all need to hit their welcome to the NFL moment and get 8-12 weeks of learning the league. This team should start to Peak come playoff time if they can get there. Either way these next few years should be boom or bust or a title shot. Got an Amazing Defense and what looks to be a complete offense.

    KyleAndAlexXtreme

    You need to relax lol

Ladidadi

Aaron knows what he has in doubs hopefully he make him want to play longer

dalton moberly

Him bringing up Romeo doubs a lot makes me happy proud of the kid so far

Isaac Singleton

440 yards of offense after the 1st quarter and barely having the ball is impressive VS any defense in the NFL, drop, fumble, and pick 6. 3 crucial mistake, 2 from a rookie who still made plays for the team to have success after both mistakes, Rodgers found his groove after the pick 6, and lazard is outperforming Adam’s these past 3 weeks, slightly. This offense is getting better week by week and I’m saying it now by the time Watkins can come back they won’t have a spot for him, he will be a shot guy or depth, Watson and doubs are about to show out. Even if they have to baby Watson to get him the ball dudes like Percy Harvin had a career out of that style of play.

Jacques Crusan

my thoughts on the season so far:
Defense has their stuff greatly sorted. While they do give up some plays throughout the game, I don’t expect them to be absolutely perfect for the entirety of each game, and they’re consistently showing a bend-don’t-break approach, which is what I’ve been hoping to see since 2012. We got a huge boost last season, but not nearly the same as this one. Special teams finally has their stuff together, and are significantly better than last year’s squad. I’m not looking for Top 5 Special teams; if we end up top 10, I’m more than happy. Offense is dynamic, fluid and changing week to week. Rookies are getting more and more critical plays in games early in the season. I want them to make the mistakes they’re going to make at this point in the season; it allows them to grow and refine their craft to the standards we as fans want them to achieve. Hard lessons and hard-fought losses have a higher benefit earlier in the season as opposed to late in the season, and some lessons are better learned the hard way.
Over the length of our current Rodgers era, we’ve had a consistent top-5 offense that more often than not carried or made up for the team lacking in other areas, and it’s worked for years. But for the first time in what seems like a long time, the script’s turned on its head. For once, the defense is the staple that we carry week to week. This defense is why I’m comfortable letting the offense fully explore and grow through trials and tribulation.
Defense is there. Special teams is there, and offense (with Rodgers, Jones, Cobb, Bahktiari, Tonyan and Lazard leading the way) have the potential to only go up from here. So I say bring on the growing pains. Bring on the hardships that are going to aggressively outline faults. Those things tend to focus the packers and force them to confront weakness sharply and immediately.

trevtkd

The offense has the talent it’s just the play calling that’s hurting them. The play calling has been garbage. 1st and second down? Air ball time. 3rd down? Run up the gut or throw two yards behind the down marker. Fantastic.
