When are they gonna give the reporters microphones
Vic back in the day was asked this question in his column. Ask vic, perhaps you’ve heard about it. The reporters are against it becasue basically it leads to a conflict of interest with the job. It’s about reporting, not being a personality. This would totally change the dynamics of the job and what they do and the product.

he’s dealt with it his entire career, from the time he was drafted he got death threats and other insults thrown at him. Then when Favre got traded it got way worse obviously and it never fazed him. So he’s dealt with fans, media and a bunch of other people bashing him his entire career and done just fine. His teammates make jokes to him about what the media says about him in the locker room all the time so it’s humorous to him and his teammates at this point.

Packers can jump the Bears for all-time wins in NFL History in week 2 if they win in week 1 and Bears lose. The Packers already have the highest win percentage of any team so enjoy it if those cards line up could see history.
