    @Josh Eden athletes in the 90s were still gifted like larry allen, LT is the reason why the left tackle position is the way it is and the modern nfl is more pass heavy which LT would’ve thrived in. the “back in the day” argument is a tough one but it applies more further back or for other sports like baseball or basketball

Yes LT revolutionized the left tackle position but in the same time speaks to the quality of tackles or running backs that LT went against compare to Donald. You put LT against todays guards or tackles he won’t sniff 100 sacks because he also have to play the run and pass. LT simply dominated with his speed and athleticism but in todays nfl there are freaks linebackers every year.

We can see the quality differences of oline specifically. It going along with the saying first guy always get the biggest piece of the pie. There is a reason no outside linebacker will ever came close to Taylor’s stats simply because teams have adapt to it and have bigger and better players.

What’s crazy about this play is that literally their 3 best rushers AD, Von and Floyd combined to make it. Von gets the initial rush off the edge forcing Jimmy to step up, Floyd was right there squeezing the pocket and forced Jimmy to drift to his right and AD was right there waiting for him after doing what he do. Best players stepping up in the biggest moments.
