Man we really need Moe to block better. maybe keep his head up when hitting those blocks. Moe puts his head down and misses his blocks too often. Really need moe to start blocking more like Jack Doyle rather than blocking like a WR.
@KingKracker u don’t have to block a player to take them out of the play. if lowering his head allows him to transition quicker to a chop block technique then let him. regardless of if he takes out the backside defender, he will at least force the player out of position to make a play
@FittyWrap! my point is, if we could get moe to block better jt will suddenly get much better. I know asking for Jack Doyle blocking is a tall task. but I’d be happy with 85% and if u guys don’t see the missed blocks and only the one block well it is what it is. buy I’m talking about the plays b4 that. moe gets on his block and JTs to the house. we need more of that. but hey he ain’t the only guy that needs to block better.
@KingKracker i understand what your saying. id noticed a slight decline in Mo’s run and especially pass blocking this season but i don’t think it’s to the extent your putting it. he’s still by miles the best run blocking TE on the team, Jelani Woods has his moments, especially against LBs and DBs but as far as consistency Mo is the most reliable #6 up front
@FittyWrap! oh ya for sure he is the best blocking TE we got. no doubt about that. if he wasn’t he wouldn’t see the field cuz for some reason he is not getting open or not getting looked at u. the passing game. and Moe coming out of college was a basket ball player so his blocking was really bad. he has gotten much better. really tho we need woods to be that great blocker for us. that dude needs to be on the field as much as possible! hopefully he plays Sunday. I havnt heard either way.

Need to get back to the basics. Do what what we do best. Like last year for example. Quick pass, RPOs and run the damn ball 🏈 offensive line always been a good run block not pass block.
