Diggs also had that td bounce right off of his hands. I wouldn’t read too far into the numbers. Diggs eats him alive if this game is played, let’s say for instance, in Atlanta.
@Mark KammerdeinerThat’s a big whopping hypothetical. As a 2nd year DB he’s locked down half the field and has only gotten better since week 1, anyone can say “well if that ball wasn’t dropped it would be different” and it wouldn’t mean anything since it didn’t happen. I’d love to see AJ and Diggs go at it indoors but we can’t sit here and deny that AJ hasn’t balled out all year with that sub par pass rush.
@40PackNugs so you didn’t watch the same game? Was there not blustery snow the entirety of the game? Did you see what Diggs did to Lattimore in a dome a couple weeks back? So weather doesn’t have any impact on a receivers ability to catch or the qbs ability to get the ball there? Allen had by far his lowest passer rating of the season. Dropped passes and errant throws left and right. You’re damn right I’m going to defend My guy in any way possible when people throw words like “locked down” as it pertains Diggs. That said, I wish the kid the best of luck. Hypotheticals indeed, but let’s keep it a buck, do you think it’s the same result if the weather is halfway decent? I’d contend 5 catches for 52 isn’t half bad all things considered. Especially on a day where Allen doesn’t even break 125 yards passing. Lol
