@Matt jalen doesn’t have a problem with reads the coaching staff is literally asking him to make 2 reads & if it’s not there do what you have to do to make a play. Jalen is a playmaker & the eagles aren’t trying to change that part of his game. When doing Rpo’s there’s only a certain amount of time you can read the field before you can worry about the DE crashing down or the Lb blitzing! On top of finding the open receiver.

DEFENSE need to step tf up, don’t worry bout Jalen he going keep improving, he already a winner. Defense owe us PERFECT game, especially against that vikings offense.

@John C jalen also had multiple free rushers on many different occasions so what do you suppose he do? Take the sack. Our o line was getting bullied most of the first half. Last yr when jalen got injured he didn’t get injured running outside of the pocket he was injured standing in the pocket. He gets down when he needs to refs need to stop letting ppl dive on his head bc like i said if it was wonder boy brady or joe burrow or arron rodgers guys would be gett finned and thrown out of the game.

@John C and yea brady probably would have never ran that much but guess what he would’ve take a lot more sacks too and your just as liable to get hurt standing vs running outside the pocket.

@CLC Animations exactly!! Did you see how many times adian hutchinson had free rushes at him?!?!? Anyone else would be getting sacked for a lost. By the time he did his 3 step drop back he already had ppl in his lap a lot of times.

@Michael Townsend dude Hurts scrambled 18 times in week 1. The difference between the guys you named and Hurts is that those other guys are getting rid of the ball. Scrambling 18 times in 1 game is a recipe for injury. This isn’t college it’s the nfl look at Vick/Wentz for example. Great players but injuries fucked them. I love Hurts and hope he’s the guy he just has to stop taking so many hits so he can be able to be the guy. If he continues to take this many hits and not get rid of the ball I promise you come December/January he will not be healthy this is a grown man’s league. I’m taking a 2nd and 10 with a healthy Jalen Hurts in December/January then a 2nd and 5 with a hurt Jalen Hurts cause he tried to get 5 yards with his legs.
