Probably not. They’re more likely to resign Kevin King with any money they have remaining. While it’s not lost on me the impact he can have in his homerun hitting running ability, and his reliability as a receiving back, it’s still hard to justify giving Aaron Jones the money he’ll ask for when you can coach 4th and 5th round picks like Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones. They’re a dime a dozen in this league and that’s why you can find those guys in later rounds. That’s why they took AJ Dillon so they could have somebody to fall back on if they can’t retain them. It’s unfortunate, but the nature of the business.
