The Patriots coaching staff deserved a lot of credit for the game planning to keep Lamar Jackson in the pocket

@Renaldy Calixte that’s an assumption based upon no evidence. The Ravens do believe Lamar can throw or else they wouldn’t let him do it 34 times. Also, in throws for more than 20 yards downfield, Lamar is completing at 40 percent with 12 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
@Renaldy Calixte name any team or qb with a positive record when down by 10? The Ravens are rarely in those situations anyways so I don’t get the relevance of that line either
@William Carpenter My point isn’t the record when down by ten. My point is that they cannot come back from down 10 or more cause Lamar cannot throw the ball downfield CONSISTENTLY!! Key word is consistently. If you cannot throw ball downfield then it will be harder to comeback because you need to score quickly. Ravens take too long to score. It’s bad when Kyler Murray has more comeback victories 5 than Lamar 0.
@matrixphijr ya forgot Lamar’s pick negating 3 points before the half. No turnovers for the pat so yeah I’d say they played better.

Well he’s by far the most overrated QB in the nfl. He will never win a super bowl, probably never even a playoff game either, and his year last year is by far the best one he will ever have. He’s not the type of quarterback who can lead a team downfield with 1.5 min left and get a touchdown. He just doesn’t have it in him. He’s been exposed this year forsure. He has talent but he can’t play from behind and that’s what is needed to be a playoff caliber QB.
@Adventures of Dave sounds like peyton manning. U realize this is his third year in the league? Only other person in his draft class thats even been to the playoffs once is josh allen. The double standard is unreal
@Adventures of Dave He’s still young though and has so much time to develop. You gotta give him time. I know it’s hard to be patient because everyone hypes him up, but some QBs need time to improve and a specific part of their game. I get your point about him not having the clutch factor though.

@M&T Bank stadium but I would expect them to beat the patriots that have an undrafted receiver throwing touchdown passes on them. This year is the least talented pats team we’ve seen in a while between injuries that we’re just starting to come back from and the league high 8 opt outs cause of COVID and the most players lost to free agency by any team. There’s no excuse for the patriots to beat the ravens.
They only run RPOS lmfao everyone said last year that Lamar was gonna be the MVP last season, but offenses would figure him and the offense out and it looks like they did

Lamar Jackson is not playing badly at all; thing is the Raven’s defense against the run is non=existent; plus, their play calling isn’t that great; Belichek and crew beat them there.

i don’t think he’s cut out for the pros….he holds on to the ball too long and when he does throw more often than not, it’s into coverage…some of those plays where he’s got all day to throw and he can’t find anybody open? either he needs a whole new receiving core that can get open or he needs to throw sooner….that long pass down the right sidline on the opening drive – the guys’s covered like blanket and he still throws it – why? I don’t think he’s comfortable throwing the ball, I think he wants to run on every play

The fact that the Patriots are still hanging around after losing so many starting players in the off season and a new qb is miraculous.
That’s not a miracle, that’s the greatest coach in NFL history, continuing to be the greatest coach in NFL history. I’m not even a Patriots fan and I know all he needs is a couple years to get back on track

They only had 2 actual starters opt out and both on defense , Donte Hightower and Patrick Chung who is injured every year anyways, and the rest were back ups and special team players
