@Edward Gaines I got to admit when they showed the video of lightning near FirstEnergy stadium it looked impressive thanks to God my house did not receive any storm damage at all this is the 350th straight in a row that God has spared my house from any storm damage my neighbor across the street wasn’t so lucky their garage wall collapsed and then a building on Union Street was damaged and knocked down luckily it was abandoned

I’m surprised by that too.. But Hunt and Chubb got over a 100 yards rushing, so I guess you could get nearly 10 minutes out of that.

@joe meeker def. 92 rushing grade by PfF since he entered the league, #1 by far. 110 forced missed tackles(entering 2020), 4.0 yards after contact(entering 2020) and EIGHT 40+ yard runs( 6 of 50+)

I’d say he’s Top 2. Also Kareem Hunt is a Top 10 RB.

I know it’s a small thing, but I like that when he got that TD he didn’t make a big show of slamming the ball into the ground and dancing around – just tossed it over his shoulder and trotted to the sidelines as if to say, “This is what I get paid to do. This is what I’m supposed to do. This is what I do. It’s not so unusual that I have to make a big deal of it. Just doin’ my job. Kinda like…what’s-his-name…the guy whose name was the same as the team’s, back in the day? Well, gotta get me some Gatorade, and maybe a shot of oxygen…yeah”. 🙂

Not an ugly, considering this is the first time the defense got it done for us. This the first win without scoring 30 points, and the run game was clutch. This was a good TEAM win in bad weather.

@Jay Taylor ahhhh!!! Ok I get it. I wasn’t taking into account the potential injuries. I still got why he did it, but I felt like scoring and going up by 9/10 was totally safe, wasn’t like if he scored it would have been a 1 score game( unlike other similar plays we have seen when a team was only up 1 and scoring would have given the other team a chance to tie) but with your point about injuries I get it! Thanks! I guess I just worry that if you don’t take the 2 Score lead, what if you somehow fumble the snap???? It always seems dangerous to me to not take a 2 score lead.

Yes, it’s highly unlikely that they would come back, but it’s still a possibility. By not scoring and just taking a knee, it guarantees that they don’t have the chance.

@Edward Gaines you’re kidding right? Odell actually grew up this year, he accepted that he wasn’t going to get big yards because of the running game and he was fine with it. He just wanted to win. He was pissed about Stefanski taking him out of the Steelers game early, which is why he took off his shoes. He’s competitive so he wanted to stay in the game. Idk why you browns fans hate on Odell so much. He made your passing game so much more dynamic. Just imagine if the browns had an elite qb… they would be playoff bound every damn year.

@detectiveMM It was some time during the second half. I think during the 3rd quarter. I’m not sure if it’s in this highlight though.. Also skeptical that it was the HC that even called the timeout.

But if he had gone in for the touchdown the Texans would have gotten the ball back with about 25 seconds left on the clock and while it’s unlikely that they could have scored two touchdowns it is not impossible. (For example, they might receive the kickoff and run it back for a touchdown. Kick the extra point., or run/throw it in for two. They then make an onside kick, recover it, toss a hail mary, make a touchdown, kick/run extra point(s), and the Texans win). By going out of bounds at the one yard line Chubb ensured that Cleveland would keep possession of the ball, Baker Mayfield could take a knee on the ensuing snap (maybe two), the clock would run out, and the Browns would be guaranteed to win the game. The objective is not always to score more points – the objective is to be certain that your team *wins the game*. This was a VERY smart move on Chubb’s part. He’d already made the point that he could have scored there – he’d outrun the defense and was absolutely in the clear to go into the endzone – but he also made the point that he will do whatever it takes to win the game, even if that means *not scoring*. In my opinion that should absolutely be the play of the game.

There’s no way both of them stay on the team next year. They are the best running backs in the league. Idc about stats, look at their individual runs, they are the complete package. Idk who is actually better though.

@zeitgeistrat They extended Hunt this year, and Chubb’s on the third year of his rookie deal. They’re pretty much guaranteed to be back with the team.

Yeah, that was BS. Landry was literally 5 feet from where the ball landed, so there definitely was a receiver in the area. Terrible grounding call.

I guess better to lose 5 yds on a penalty than 20 on the sack.
