Consider making AB the return specialist that could help y’all offense a lot for stretching the field either him or Scotty Miller . use one of them like the way Kansas city uses Mecole Hardman now I get their not as fast like that but it’s enough better than Jaydon Mickens I’ll say .

Byron, I’ve never seen a team with such firepower look so inept. Stop the 1 yd passes to wide outs when side to side D is so fast in the NFL. North and South plays. Same with Fournette! He’s a N S runner, trap block, get him a cut back lane and boom he’s to the next level.

The strategy you suggest is what failed against the Saints. They didn’t run short outs and quick passes. They kept trying to run deep outs and deep passes and it got them nothing. When your line can’t block the absolute worst strategy “North and South” passing plays.
@A Bruised Reed You could also realize your Left Tackle was struggling and have your TE pass block and have your halfback stay in and chip and then have both run short delayed routes to couple with your receive running different depths in their routes. I don’t understand why they didn’t play more max protect because there were times where Brady couldn’t even set. This offensive line without Marpet is simply not good enough for 1-on-1 blocking against the Saints. Donovan Smith is a liability against the Saints, Tristan Wirfs does his best, but Cameron Jordan is a tough assignment and Alex Cappa needs help. If you have 3 #1 wide receivers then invest more personnel on giving Brady a clean pocket and let the receiver routes develop. AB can get open against double teams and Godwin can make tough catches in traffic and Evans can use you physicality to make receptions. Also get Mike Evans away from Lattimore.

Bruce Arians encountered two witches standing side by side on Halloween and asked if they could cast a spell and work their magic to make his team execute dominately on offense. The witches replied that he could only choose one of them…. He pondered on it and decided to go with the LEFTWICH and unfortunately found out after two games that he probably should have either chosen the right witch or neither one. 😆 Hopefully the spell has worn off because it just made things worse!

I usually like Byron’s temperament and demeanor, but after that embarrassing 38-3 loss, he’s way too passive here.
It’s only an issue when we lose with the play calling. When we win no one complains. We will bounce back!

These coaches make more excuses than any staff in recent memory. No specific answers on how to improve the ridiculous offensive performances out of the gates against Chicago, Saints twice, and Green Bay. The “we just need to get better” nonsense is wearing thin. I’ve got an idea, Byron. Why don’t you watch Brady’s 5 billion victories and notice the constant short outs and quick passes as he nickeled and dimed teams, then threw the occasional deep ball and mixed in runs? How about that instead of trying to through deep outs, deep passes, and no runs against an offensive live your guys can’t block?

Somebody needs a talk with Mike evens and let him know every route can be a go route and he has to win his matches with the better corners consistently…..simple …obviously he is not there yet as a receiver
