Don’t give up on Daniel Jones yet, give him more offensive weapons. The giants should draft a first round WR or TE in the draft, not a QB. Jones has shown he got potential, he has turnover issues but still, if he can reduce them than it’s fine
While I do agree that he shouldn’t be replaced come offseason. I do not agree with adding more weapons as you put it. The kid has a plethora of capable pass catchers and RBs – the problem is himself and the OL.
While the OL looks to be improving week-after-week, his turnovers have been a detriment and when he refrains from boneheaded decision, the team typically does well. If they can draft or sign a FA starter on the line and get him to chuck it out of bounds, he’ll be just fine.
@Charles Kruzits So what should the Giants draft in the first round, It makes sense to get a WR or TE idk, the only other thing I see is maybe some other defensive players or more improvements to the offensive line
@Nick The First I don’t see the Giants spending a top-15 pick on a tight end/WR unless it’s a absolute game-changer type. We’ve seen an influx of pass catchers being scooped up in the second, third and even fourth round. It has to be OL or DE/LB/CB.
The Giants do need an edge rusher seeing that the interior line is strong and would be even better with an edge that is able to keep a QB inside. You never can have enough in terms of good CBs and maybe (wishful thinking) they will pick an LB that can cover a lot of ground and add value in the run game.
