Neither is his offensive line. Those 4 turnovers were largely a result of unmitigated Buffalo pressure and he STILL put up a good fight. People are all gonna be saying Mahomes or Rodgers is the MVP front-runner now…really now

I’m a Seahawks fan and I agree. This team is one and done in the playoffs. The playoffs tend to expose teams with weak defenses. As great as Russ is and I hope he wins MVP and/or reaches 50 TDs, it is difficult for me to see this team going anywhere in the playoffs with this sad sack defense.

@Devonta Draper I don’t think he is in the lead, but I don’t think anyone has clearly taken the lead, yes Wilson was not great today, but you don’t have to be great every week to win mvp. Take a look at Wilson’s up coming schedule he has it easy from weeks 12-15.

I think he got off to such a big lead that he’s still is in it, but ya this and the cardinals game have hurt his mvp stock, his schedule gets better from here so I think he’ll get back to what he was doing early on.

Feel bad for him. He has to play a perfect game to win since his defense is really bad. He is also in a very good division and if the Sea hawks lose games it is going to cost Russ. He just can’t catch a break.
He doesnt have to play perfect, but nobody can expect to turn it over 4 times and win.

@Keanu Brandes naw I do but I feel like russ is falling in love with having dk as a WR so he’s falling in love with to many deep passes and not methodically moving down the field when you know yo defense is not good you got to take time off the clock to kind of help your defense and keep the opponents offense out of rhythm…..

it was a rough game because there was no run game, but they were always playing from behind so Schotty probably wanted to throw more to catch up.

Wenatchee Hoosier his destruction is probably due to the fact that he’s being hit like he’s Andrew Luck. He is a top 2 QB but this season in his increased reps he looks less like himself because he’s turning it over too much
@Half Skull I don’t think Wenatchee Hoosier knows what an MVP is. Put any MVP QB in a game with a shitty defense, shitty oline, and see if he can win it especially when the opposing team puts up 44 points with ease (probably could’ve done more if they didn’t slow down) . Take away Patrick Mahomes decent oline and decent defense, and see if he could pull off the upset. I doubt it. Mahomes is a beast no doubt, but the seahawks without wilson would be tanking for Trevor lol.

@Wenatchee Hoosier it was a rough game. Yes we can blame Russ, but it was overall a team loss. After the first 2 drives the seahawks were literally playing catch up. That defense couldn’t even stop the Bills offense. Bills offense literally scored of EVERY single drive they had. Did you see how easy Josh Allen picked apart that secondary? And how comfy he was sitting in that pocket?
Russ was in a bad position after the first two drives and that line couldn’t stop the Bills blitz scheme, same crap that happened during the loss against the cardinals. You can blame Russ all you want, but when your defense gives up 44 points, that’s a hard game to win.
#RussForMVP without him, this probably would’ve been a shut out or even more of a massacre. Jamal Adam’s little penalty also affected the comeback.
@KOU IZZLE wait so you just gave us all tons of excuses….about the defense and the line…..when instead of trading and drafting for those positions…they spend everything on 1 player…..HOF Bobby Wagner/HOF Jamaal Adams are the best at there positions. Yeah I know my seahawks traded a bit for Jamal Adams, but that’s because they apparently love to draft guys beyond the 3rd round.

Why people that didn’t watch the game come to comment here? Seahawks defense was terrible on all downs specially Quinton Dunbar. They make mistake over mistake and then blame Russell for trying to throw on desparate situations because they know the defense will not carry on. Change this defense now or there is no chance the Seahawks will go to the SB.
