ocelotl

His excuse is Lock has only played in 6 or 7 games and yet Herbert is leading the AFC with just over 300 passing yards a game lol a rookie lmao just say what it is either this OC and Locks play style are completely on different pages here or Lock is not Developing as they thought or hyped him up to be at this point there’s no excuses when 2 rookies are lighting up defenses stop the BS I’m sure fangio and elway really thought this OC would work and obviously it’s not Lock played better under scangarello

Chill dude you have no idea what you are talking about

Shurmur is not helping Drew point blank. If the kid is not where you want him in his development then do game plans that’ll settle him an build his confidence. Then slowly incorporate more challenges to enhance his game once you see his game confidence has risen. This is exactly what there doing with Herbert. Coach Fangio said this in today’s presser, which I think was a hidden shot at Shurmur. The Good to great coaches build up there players not load up the player an expect him to perform at a level he may not be at yet. I truly believe this is partly why we seen Drew come on strong last year.( to coach scangs credit)

Gg No Re

How about you call some good plays shurmur

    Logan Balius

A lot of the plays guys are open lock does not throw it

    Gg No Re

@Logan Balius you gotta understand that plays are based around who the QB is throwing to. If his number 1 guy isnt open then he’ll look at his number 2, then number 3. He only has at most 6 seconds to do all that so he’ll make a decision then and there. Obviously he should throw to the open guy but technically hes still a rookie so he’ll make those kind of mistakes.

    Logan Balius

@Gg No Re I was defending shurmur the plays get guys open and the run game has looked good

    Toxicplayz 2

@Gg No Re bruh its not 6 seconds its about 2-4 seconds drew has in the pocket and that’s how much every qb has a qb does not have 6 seconds and your supposed to scan the field and throw the ball to the receiver u choose u do not look at one then two

    Gg No Re

@Toxicplayz 2 no you scan the field after looking at the designated receivers on the play. Also that’s even less time to make a play.

Logan Balius

Marcelo might be one of our biggest loses

Paty Pérez

FIX THE OFFENSE THATS WHAT TOU WERE BROUGHT IN TO DO!

Shurmur cannot play and Lock knows he has to go through his progressions and work on his footwork if Rypien can do it so can Lock.

The Irony of the last game was that in the combine I thought Drew was better at passing in the intermediate routs, not the deep ball. Short, Mid range throws, while avoiding sacks, and getting a few key yards on the ground is where Drew is the best, in my non-professional opinion. Not to say that drew is bad at the deep ball, I just did not see that as being where he is best.
