This presser is proof positive of what the problem is. Over half of the interview questions had to do with OBJ, what he’s doing, what his absence will mean, whether or not things will be rearranged when he’s not on the field, how will Baker do without O’Dell, etc etc. I like OBJ, I really do. I’m just as sorry as every other fan that he suffered a season-ending injury. But ONE MAN DOES NOT MAKE OR BREAK THE TEAM. He’s incredibly talented and motivated, there’s no denying that. But just bc the other players might not be up to his caliber doesn’t mean that they can’t contribute big plays. The focus needs to be on the TEAM and how to best attack a game, not just one player. And even though Stefanski said all the right things during the interview, don’t think for one second that he won’t notice the stats on Baker if they improve going forward. Stefanski, Berry and DePodesta are all numbers guys. Stefanski isn’t blind to what’s going on.
Come on media don’t worry about OBJ out for the rest of season, Browns still have DPJ is going to be AOK as long as we still have coach Stefanski is the master play calling on the field

The truest indicator of OBJ’s impact on Mayfield (good or bad) will be measured in 2 ways: 1.) how Mayfield performs after #13’s injury the rest of this season, and 2.) whether OBJ is on the roster next year.
Everything else is just coach-speak.
