I don’t think I would want any other QB when the team needs a 4th quarter two minute drive to win the game!!! He did it in The Bears game but Swift dropped it and The Cardinals game he drove the team down the field for the FG!!! My confidence is high Mathew is gonna get the ball down the field when the game is on the line!!! Captain Clutch is back!!!!
id bet on him beating that comeback record too if they didn’t have a hot start habit and if 4 of the next 5 weren’t mismatches. ofc it took him a second since coming back from the injury (first time not starting in a LONG while) but last year’s laser accurate stafford is BACK!!!! love QB9
It’s like their game plan to get the ball with 2 minutes left down by 6. This scenario happens waayyy too often for the lions. It’s almost every other game. It’s crazy cause it shows that Stafford can literally score almost at will, but they save it for the final drive.

I dont care how they win. Just find a way every week. Bevel has to step up his playcalling though. Defense seems to be stepping it up a little bit the offense has to do the same. Playcalling is too inconsistent and just not aggressive enough

@Justin Mix Yeah, they really do need to go 13-3. They are behind 2 games to two different teams. In order to win the division, they need to win two more games than both of those teams in the remainder of the season.
They must beat Green Bay and Chicago the second times around in order to gain a game. Then they have to win one more game than both 1 loss teams against the rest of the league.
If they ever lose a game, one of those teams is going to win that week and put them even farther in the hole. They likely can’t win the division without a flawless next ten games or a major collapse of both Green Bay and Chicago.
