Lock: ‘You just can’t let one week throw you off course’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Javier Duran

So many negative people expect Drew to be Mahomes out of the gate, ups and downs about developing your qb.

    That’s a fake World

@J Shaffer most of it hasn’t been lock, but if we want to beat the good teams he has to fix his problems and do the right thing. He’s to over aggressive which can be a good thing at times and a bad thing at times.

    メープル

    He’s not very good. Simple.

    Crystal Abraham

THE BACKUP QB IS THE BETTER FIT QUICK THROWS DONT TAKE SACKS ALSO ACURATE WITH THE BALL GOES PERFECT WITH OUR DEFENSE AND LINDSAY

    music41533

When he scored he just had to do so stupid dance. I told my wife I just want to see him keep on trying to get better at being the qb. He doesn’t need to prance like the other punks, just focus on the game. Perhaps he needs to watch how players like Montana played the game.

TBG x SOB

So many people are soo quick to give up but I’m still here

    Cloudz titan

    @ralo Ramirez 😂

    TBG x SOB

    Toxicplayz 2

@ralo Ramirez your dumb cause your probably a fake fan so get outta here

    Joseph Faison

    @That’s a fake World 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pay Lindsay and drop Melvin Gordon he does balls and Dui’s weekly. Hold players accountable before the absolute beast players we have leave us.

    Donta Whittiker

@MrPaiute so u say turf toe and a concussion makes him injury prone? What other injuries has he had? Yeah he is small but explosive. Gordon has a couple fumbles already, and bad ones. Injuries happen to everyone. Sayquon Barkley(dont know if that correct) hasent played a full season yet. Is he no good either. Dont gotta break the bank but for him, just a good number saying “we appreciate ur work” is Lock injury prone? He only played 8 or 9 games in 1 1/2 seasons. I’m saying that’s not an excuse.

    Donta Whittiker

@JShady7620 alot of no gain runs? You dont get a thousand yards twice by having a bunch of no yard runs. Last week over a hundred yards Gordon has played all but one game this season only has one 100 yard game. That was on a 30 or 40 yard run at the end of the game. Apples to Oranges bro both are good in there own way, jus say reward the man that has proven himself in this team. If u read my other comment there are a few other backs that has been injured most of there time in the league.

    JShady7620

@Donta Whittiker Absolutely a lot of no yard gains. You just made the point that Gordon got his 100 yard game from a big runs, so does Phil. Phil also doesn’t have many 100 yard games to his credit. 1000 yards isn’t the standard for elite backs anymore. If you play 14 to 16 games you should come close to 1000 easy. Phil barely cracked 1000 last year and they were force feeding him to get it since the season was lost anyway. Like I said he’s an ok back but easily replaceable for a lot less money.

    MrPaiute

@Donta Whittiker you can correct fumbling issues, but you cannot prevent injuries to an injury-prone player especially concussions, which come even easier after the initial one. Philip is injury prone at a position which takes the most punishment. He is not built like other bellcow running backs, period. Philip isn’t worth Gordon’s contract because Gordon has the ability that Lindsay doesn’t: Availability. Wrist, turf toe, and now concussions, Lindsay is definitely injury prone

    Donta Whittiker

@MrPaiute ok his wrist and turf toe are two, that hardly counts as injury prone. Concussions are a part of the game( unfortunately) when you hit someone or get hit in game. Every player probably has had a concussion at some point in there career. Gordon has had one big run all season. Phil does that a few times a game. And tell me, if we can get another back cheaper and more durable then why haven’t they? Then, if you can see that he is injury prone from home, then the coaches should notice too, right? Seeing as they are only feet away from him 3 to 4 days of the week. The Broncos kno how good he is that’s why he gets those touches. And there getting it at discount.

Noah uphold

You got this drew keep your head up!

    メープル

    Sorry. He sucks.

    Noah uphold

Nah man he’s gonna be fine.

    dbag0584

    @メープル he is HORRIBLE

    Noah uphold

He had a rough game but I like to look at are whole team then just putting in on lock everyone needs to be better. Personally I’m not a fan of shurmur I think rich was on to something last year

Ram Bala

Pl. move on to the next game and get this season over with. Put an end to the misery for watching games like this.

Mike Oz

I’m here for the good and the bad, ups and downs. I hope when we look back on this game at the end of the season it was an outlier.

Sven Tholstrom

Let’s go lock I’m just waiting for u to break out

    Psycho Beatz

    I still have hope

    Chiliplays_YT

@ralo Ramirez it means give him some time to improve

    Tyler Huston

@ralo Ramirez I’m not saying he’s gonna be great I’m just saying I’m not calling it yet.

    ralo Ramirez

@Tyler Huston let’s let him keell OK nshitting on our defense your right let’s just tank and go for Trevor Lawrence

pokaz pokaz

The play action too predictable always rolling to your right pff wtf

    Just Coolan

This is what I was saying the whole game, we ran the same bootleg to the right the entire game. The play calling is just as bad if not worse than last year.

Reid Bacon

Say what you want about Drew Lock, dude never misses an interview question.

    Jonathan Vargas

To bad interviews dont win superbowls

    Reid Bacon

@ralo Ramirez relax toughie. It’s just a statement about someone’s ability to answer questions, which is a valid statement.

    Reid Bacon

@ralo Ramirez and yes I’ve played sports, I played college football for 3 years guy, I know how it works. Which is why I treat pro athletes like human beings, not like sacks of meat. Now you’re the guy who goes through the comments of YouTube videos to find things to get mad at. Seems like you might need to have some self reflection, and really think “am I really such a sad person that I spend my time scrolling comments?” That sir, is a bigger problem for you than any chiefs loss.

    TOM KING

    God…this is unwatchable.

    JC Brunz

    Yea, neither did Osweiler.

Bubba a

Lock needs to work on seeing the whole field he looks at the player he’s going to throw it to the whole time that’s how they got the pick 6

    Tony Partridge

Yea he rolls to the same side of the field when flushed out the pocket and misses some wide open options. Missed Fant a few times for sure. He still has promise though

    K J

He was a reach when he was drafted. Had always had accuracy issues.

Victor Thiros

Remember when Drew lock ran in that first touchdown those were the good times.

Anthony Moursalian

seeing drew that defeated is tough, hate to see it. it does show us though how much this team means to him. he’s never going to stop trying

    Blaž Zavrtanik

Yeah i feel u but bro, this guy is just talking how he must play better, all talk, no show

    Adam Kern

I don’t think he sounds defeated at all, he sounds determined. He said eventually this won’t even be a conversation oh, I love that confidence.

    Adam Kern

@Blaž Zavrtanik bro shut up, you act like he didn’t just play the third-best passing defense in the NFL in only his ninth start of his career.

Dylan Johnson

I’ve been here for Paxton lynch, case keenum, and everyone else so I will damn if I give up on drew lock

    RoadBoss 117

I miss Case keenum so much

    Daniel Ballinger

    @RoadBoss 117 Ha! Ha!

    MrPaiute

There is one common demoninator in all those guys: miscalculations by John Elway

    The Discussion

    @RoadBoss 117 Why?

    Zachman_jd

But the difference is is drew lock will become one of the best in the league, I can guarantee this man is the future

Moc

You guys have to realize they went up against the best team in the NFL

    Franklin Lewis Ii

Hebert played the same KC team and nearly beat them. Put up more points as well. Good thing is we got the first meeting head to head with Hebert this Sunday and if Lock gets outplayed by Hebert you think the people calling him out now is bad youll have an outpour next week. Lock needs a game like he had at Houston last year. If not he’s trending towards another Paxton Lynch comparison. Drew talks big in his presser but you gotta back it up on the field and so far he has not. 1 td in his starts. Passing td 1 rushing td that’s not good enough. 8 games or not.

    Franklin Lewis Ii

Herbert* darn auto correct on my phone.

    TOM KING

Yeah…and they could have beat them …count me “unlocked”.

Michel Brouillette

Guys, remember he’s had 8 games. That’s half a rookie season. He’s shown enough promise to have hope in him.

    Patrick Smith

    Joe Burrow does too.

    Michel Brouillette

@Patrick Smith Joe burrow was the #1 pick, which means he was entering the nfl with more talent. That doesn’t mean lock can’t eventually match him in the nfl. It just means he might need more time to adjust. And some quarterbacks are just slow getting to the nfl level. If he shows no development by the end of the season, yes. It will be time to move on. But I think he’ll show up next week.

    Tim B

@Michel Brouillette Agreed . All players develop at different pace. He’s essentially still a rookie in terms of game time.

    Joseph Faison

@Michel Brouillette Mann to many excuses he sucks rite now can’t beat a good team

    MrPaiute

Tell that to Murray, Herbert and Burrow, they seemed to be okay from game 1

Unz360

4 turnovers, 2 on Drew and 2 on Melvin. That’s an easy way for KC to run away with it. Ugh. Hopefully we can beat them in the 2nd matchup.

whereistherealslimshady?

Is our season over?

    Ryan Slavick

Are you kidding? Yes our season is over we’re having the same issues each and every game I’m tired of hearing the broncos excuses each week get better and win!!

Rio Hashimoto

I think this is a real turning point in Lock’s career. He will either come back stronger and tougher or he will be replaced. I think the fact that he looks close to tears is proof that he really cares. Hopefully he can use this as motivation to improve. And I’ll still put my faith in him. And besides, The Broncos still have their first round pick so if things get worse they get a high pick.

Joey Garcia

Boy, you can really tell, he is having a tough time with these games. I feel bad for the guy, he can be better, just in a Perfect Storm situation.
