Fangio on Jerry Jeudy’s progress: ‘I see the flashes. I see the good plays’

Go look at the footage theres so many touchdowns hamler and juedy could have had already this garbage coach needs to draw more plays for them

LOL. I am a Jeudy fan, but he has not produced much at all so far. And far too many drops just five games into the season. I do have a feeling he is going to get better and better each week if Lock stays healthy.

@James Davis he has been pretty consistent outside of the drop issues. 3 different QBs, he needs to have consistency with a QB and build that chemistry. No he hasnt been performing like other receivers, but once he gets it he will be a top 3 WR from the draft class all said and done. 17 receptions 266 yards 1td is solid considering the things he has been tasked to do so early on that other wide receivers havent. He is being focused on heavily by defenses hence why tim patrick has been so good. To say he hasnt produced much at all is silly. 4 – 56, 4 – 62, 5 – 55, 2 – 61 1td, 2 – 32. Juedy has been solid. And the scary thing is honestly he isnt even playing great football he has been solid but not great football. Jeudy is barely scratching the surface.

The reason he not getting targeted is he free roams a lot does a lot of exstra moves that make him open but the timing never right so qb does not know where he is

Jeudy’s route running is so good there is two of him.

I like Jeudy, but the only consistent thing about his game so far this year is a lack of production and drops. Jeudy is like many young receivers in the NFL – he is just going to take some time. For sure having Lock play every game will help Jeudy, but Jerry needs to catch the damn ball!

It doesn’t matter how good your route running is ; if you can’t catch the ball there is no point. Too many drops through five games. Far too many. And this also happened in training camp. And it also happened in college. So Jeudy has a history of this type of thing. I have a feeling he will level out and start to produce more and more as the season goes along. But I said this when he was drafted: he is no cinch to be a top WR.

I don’t worry much about the drops. It isn’t due to lack of ability, just concentration. He knows it too.

@Rhinopocalypes no so sure about that. When you have problems with drops in college and the pros it is probably not just concentration. He does NOT have great hands. He can make great catches but he does NOT catch the ball as fluidly as WR’s that have great hands.

I do think he is going to be good though.

You can see it when he actually plays. He tries to hard in RAC and forgets about the ball. It was clear in the first game. He tried to catch it, dropped it, and was frustrated as hell because you could see him turn before catching.

Not saying his hands are like Sutton tier but I don’t think it’ll be a huge issue like Edelman. Maybe something that haunts him a little at most. In the end though you never want to see a perfect rookie. Stuff like that is just saving the problems for later.

If the raiders can pull it off, so can we, just gotta play lights out, can’t make any mistakes, its not likely, but it is possible
