@Justme Yeah 55 is just not doable. Maybe for these qbs thats started after the rule changes for qb hits.
But if he can play to 47 some amazing stats will get put up.
He’s at 555 regular season pass tds. He’s on pace to end the season with 578. If he did play through age 47 he’d need just 30 pass tds to reach 700 regular season pass tds.

@Justme He started a movement. Brees when he wasn’t sure how long Brady was going to play said he might retire then released his records will get blown out when Brady wasn’t going to retire. So he said he’s going to play for while.
Then Wilson and Rodgers both said they looked at Brady and want to keep playing.
If he reaches 700 that will last a long time. It’s one thing to want to play late in in your mid 40s it’s another to keep up that motivation for decades.

@Justme Not to mention the 17 game seasons. I’d rather football go back to the 90s to around 2005. That was perfect mix of physical play allowed on both sides of the ball.

@RUSSELL WEEKS First was the 49ers. They were loses then Brady gets born and his hometown team gets Bill Walsh and Montana. Goes to Michigan. Red Wings win the Cup for the first in 50 years. Goes to Boston Red Sox break the curse. Now Tampa. Cities should hire him after he retires if they want a title
He genuinely seems happy. Tampa is just to prove to himself that he can win without the so-called “system”. It’s a personal challenge that he’s taken personal!
@Christopher Clague That playing past what people though was possible is a challenge. His whole TB12 empire is built around playing into his mid 40s at a high level.

The whole bill spite/drama has some relevance, but you look at the whole situation in its entirety, you see that Tom just wanted to prove to himself that he can do it elsewhere. New terrains, new system, new city. New challenge.

@Christopher Clague Because he wanted to keep playing for 1 and Belichick refused to sign him past 1 year. The bigger reason I feel is the lack of help and talent on the team. To make his point he still needed some semblance of NFL talent to keep playing well and winning.

You can tell brady is feeling confident about where this football team is headed. I bet they have had another good week of practice.
