Typically undrafted free agents don’t command too much money from the market. Like cj Anderson. We will sign Lindsay to a mutually beneficial deal.
@Joseph Cordova as a RFA Broncos may just let him go if they put a 3rd rd value on him. He has unique skills, it only takes one team to want him.
@Joey Garcia Lindsay will get paid. His running talent does not come around often, but his game lacks one element. *Effective* blocking on passes will always be the knock. Barry Sanders could block. Emmitt Smith could block. I’m not taking away his *willingness* to throw blocks but his size makes his blocking less effective. That’s all.
If Walter Payton was “sweetness” Phillip Lindsay is “salt-ness” the way he plays with a chip on his shoulder and I love it. There is something salty about all his runs.
The chip is there because he is not being respected with his lame contract and there is nothing he can do but take out his anger on the field! Yeah, I would too!
