The ball moved as he was going to the ground and before he regained possession he slid out of bounds. No catch! No TD! Get it right NFL. SMFH!

His knee was down before he lost control..he caught it, made a football move by switching hands then knee went down,,then lost possession..but if knee hits its automatically down on the spot

What was the rule interpretation on this TD, where the refs decided it was a catch, vs losing possession as he went to the ground? Did they discuss this during the TV broadcast? Anyone watching the broadcast that can share what the rule interpretation elements were that made it a catch? Someone said it hinged on him getting a knee down with possession. It looks like he loses consciousness as he hits the ground and loses his grip on the ball.
