In all respect — and satire — I offer up for the current NFL season: Time For “Best Dramatic Player Use Of Profane Utterances On The Field Live In Any NFL Game”…which the crowd noise would “normally” drown out in previous years….but it seems not this year. Is it just some of “us”? Aren’t you hearing what the lack of crowd noise is bringing into our homes? Live and in color (-full language). Not that we’re objecting to the profanities — some is quite creative and even humorous at times — but isn’t it something both the league and the networks should address? Like finding some way to drown it out? It’s Solid Gold” on the NFL’s own highlight videos, too! Preserved for NFL history, too! You’ll get “an ear full from every game” on those highlight reels…
