Love Jamaal, but what was the point of drafting AJ Dillon in the 2nd round if you’re not going to use him on 4th and 1? Would like to see him get on the field more.

Yeah, should not be stuffed on the goal line ever again!

Drafting isn’t for this year. It is for the future development of the team.

Jamaal and Aaron won’t be around for long.

@IHCTerra you’re right and wrong. Dillon is a guy they can utilize right away and run the ball literally 40 times a game and constantly have fresh legs on the field. Having Dillon does indeed give us an out for Williams, but i feel like not giving Dillon more carries while he’s behind an experienced backfield is a waste of vital reps.

yea jamall isnt a big back. theres no way ppl will stop Dillon on a short and goal

    Horrible4

@Daniel Cha I mean, it’s still possible to stop him. The thing is that the mental aspect of the game is really underrated. Defenses hate trying to stop the run when they’re behind in a game they’re losing late in the 4th quarter. Williams and Jones are both strong runners, don’t get me wrong. But nobody is afraid to tackle them. Bringing a hammer of a back in like Dillon on 4th and short to seal the game away makes defenses hesitate, even just a little bit to come up and make a play. Everyone knows defenses are exhausted by this point in the game, if you bring in Dillon in the 4th quarter he could easily break 5 yards per carry just because he hasn’t played all game.

The aspect of rotating backs in and out is extremely underrated imo and we could seriously make defenses hurt even if they do manage to stop us.

With Covid raging in Green Bay, it is now the country’s hotspot, I think the team should go into a bubble. Stay at a hotel and take your meals there and only leave for practice or a game.
