    He definitely deserved more kudos than he’s been given, though let’s be serious – the passing records are a bit hard to put much weight on considering the type of game NFL football is now compared to the times even Gannon had played at, much less compared to the era Snake and Plunk played at.

    Yes, I’ll give the D credit for the 8 points in the 2nd half, overall they gave up 1 too
    many TD’s in this game, holding them to 24pts over 4 qtrs would have been top 10
    D, so they weren’t far off the mark. Really good performance this game, but can’t
    give up 30+ pts every game, gotta work on that part for sure.

    Before Gannon got to the Raiders he was considered basically a journeyman QB. Under Gruden he made huge strides. I am old enough to Remember Madden, Flores, Plunket. Jake the Snake. etc..
