    @Sunless Artist what? He played well, it’s a hard situation to be brought in to save your team when you’ve played a total of 4 snaps before then. Julian dropped the ball (literally and figuratively) on that play with no fault of Stidham, and the pick from throwing to Byrd was a timing issue he threw it too late but that can be fixed by getting more first team reps in practice. Stidham didn’t play amazing but he didn’t really cost the team especially in the position the patriots were in today.

Had he started the game from the beginning, he would grow into the game, inspired by the strong play from D. But I think we asked him a lot by putting him late, trailing against the champs at their home with their fans. And of course, the refs. If Cam is not cleared for Denver, I think we should go with Stidham. Just take care of the ball better. We still have a shot of winning the division. I was expecting the Ls from Seattle and KC but the team looked superb on both games.
